In the south of Tuscany, there is a land of sinuous hills, suggestive ancient villages, avenues of cypresses, vineyards, olive groves, and, scattered here and there, medieval castles. This is Val d’Orcia, a land of rare beauty and a protected nature reserve listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. Nature is the star here, sporting a riot of different colours in different seasons and acting as the source of inspiration for many painters, especially during the Renaissance, and, in more recent times, as a set for internationally renowned films, such as ‘The English Patient’ and ‘Gladiator’.

More precisely in this area, in Montalcino, a magnificent city of art that dominates the infinite expanse of vineyards surrounding it from the top of its hill, Spazio Verde created the park of a wine estate dating from 1400.

The botanical selection naturally included ancient olive trees, palm trees, cypresses, 4-season flowering plants and citrus fruits in Impruneta terracotta pots.

A high performance, low water consumption irrigation system was installed using top quality Toro® materials and a clean water storage tank. Lighting effects were created using low consumption LED technology, with recessed spotlights for trees and planting beds, pedestrian path bollard lights, and driveway marker lights.

The swimming pool was equipped with a skimmer and chlorine filtration system, with adjacent paving set in Carrara marble.

Furthermore, a surface drainage system and dry stone walls were designed, which are ideal when you want to give a facelift to a garden or park since they are easy to install, and present a visible natural surface of split stones.

To complete the project, powder coated wrought iron gazebos were installed, along with the highest quality outdoor furniture, strictly made in Italy.
