The ancient heart of Morocco lies between the Middle AtlasMountains, where you’ll find the two imperial cities of Fès and Meknès, the sanctuary city of Moulay, which host the remains of the founder of Morocco’s first Arab dynasty, and the suggestive archaeological site of Volubilis, dating from Imperial Rome. Characterized by peaks reaching up to 3356 metres above sea level, theMiddle Atlas is a 350-kilometre long mountainous massif with a unique charm, suggestive of the Alps rather than Africa, given that snow makes its appearance over 600 metres and, therefore, allows for winter skiing.

The Middle Atlas is also a territory with large spaces, infinite expanses and magnificent cedar forests that cover everything.

It has often been said that when men and mountains meet, great things happen. Well, it is precisely in this magical landscape that Spazio Verde designed and realized the park of a Royal Palace, planted with winter-resistant, typical of the mountain range, and reforested various deforested areas.

Worthy of a scene of ’One Thousand and One Nights’ are the waterfall pool covered in Bisazza marble, the fountain located at the entrance of the main building and covered in mosaic and alabaster elements, the fountain along the road covered in marble with seventeen lion heads made with an exclusive Impruneta terracotta mould, a tennis court made of synthetic resin, some naturalistic engineering works, including reinforced earth slopes supported by Cyclopean boulders, a heliport, the cladding of retaining walls with local stone, a surface drainage systemSaudi Arabian marble and granite paving outside buildings and pedestrian walkways inside the forest, made from architectural concrete. Strictly made in Italy outdoor furniture contributes to the charm of this mix of East and West.

As for irrigation and lighting, an irrigation and sub-irrigation system with pumping stations and automated storage tanks, and a scenic and functional lighting system were installed.

To complete the project, we added handrails to pedestrian paths, guard rails along the roadways, gazebos, pergolas and a trellis structure to delimit the tennis court.

The result? An oasis where you can stop, breathe and observe a blade of grass growing.
