Located between the territories of Brescia, Trento and Verona, with a surface area of approximately 370 square kilometres, a mild and temperate climate that has given rise to the formation of Mediterranean vegetation and, since ancient times, the cultivation of olive trees and vineyards as well as oranges, lemons, cedars and bergamots, Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, also known locally as ‘Benaco’, has seen prehistoric settlements of Ligurians, Veneti, Insubri, Etruscans and Gauls on its shores.

Lauded by writers and poets of all ages, from the Latin poet Catullus, whose family owned a villa in Sirmione, to Dante Alighieri, Goethe, Ugo Foscolo, Lord Byron, Henry Stendhal, Giosuè Carducci, Gabriele D’Annunzio, Ezra Pound and Franz Kafka, Lake Garda is probably one of the best places to live in all of Italy, thanks to an enviable combination of pure air, a mild climate all year round, and surrounding lush vegetation, high mountains and verdant hills.

It is precisely here that Spazio Verde designed and realized the gardens of a residential complex with the planting of several varieties of shrubs and bushes with four-season flowering and prize Garda and Spanish olive trees. An automatic system low water consumption irrigation system was then installed using top quality RainBird® materials, artesian wells and storage systems with underground tanks for maximum automation and energy savings.

As for lighting, energy-efficient LED technology was chosen, with recessed spotlights for plant and flower beds, and marker lights for pedestrian paths and driveways.

Furthermore, six swimming pools were designed and built in the park with infinity edges, chlorine filtration and PVC loungers and deckchairs with customized canvas backs.

Finally, since most of the gardens were located on slabs and equipped with green roofs, work was carried out to ensure waterproofing, run-off drainage, lightened substrates, etc.
