Spazio Verde is a company from Lonato del Garda (BS) that, for over 40 years, has drafted detailed planimetric designs and realised landscaping and green projects for outdoor spaces, from the most intimate settings to large parks and public works, integrated with sophisticated technological systems. Over the course of four decades, Spazio Verde has acquired extensive experience and skills that have confirmed is leading role in the design of private and public gardens, theme parks, sports facilities, exclusive event areas and all those spaces in which nature and man are protagonists.

Creativity, quality, attention to detail, imagination, in a nutshell, that innate creative ability that, in the most disparate sectors, differentiates Italian lifestyle from that of the rest of the world is what distinguishes Spazio Verde: a company that wholly represents the concept of Italian Excellence.

History

It is this unforgettable decade of shoulder pads and cotton candy hair that sees the foundation of Spazio Verde by Riccardo Loro, the purchase of the first corporate fleet, and the advent of technological tools at the company headquarters, with the first computers and software for green design.

The 90s, that decade of transition between those carefree years and the almost frenetic desire for the phantomatic year 2k, protagonist of science fiction and fantasy, witnesses the expansion of the company with the purchase of the first part of the land of its future headquarters, the renovation of offices and the creation of its calling card: a show garden.

In the second half of the decade, Spazio Verde purchases the second part of the land of the future headquarters, dedicated to a nursery and doubling the company’s cultivation area, and a new fleet of much larger vehicles, to replace the old ones.

In the 2000s, that future coveted and imagined in a thousand different ways and finally become reality, Spazio Verde keeps up with the times by creating its first website. The decade also see the renovation of the headquarters once again, an opening up towards foreign markets, and the addition of the Italian flag to the company logo, to symbolize “Made in Italy Excellence”.

In the slightly vintage decade, aimed more than anything else at a recovery of recent times past, years whose history is, nonetheless, tied to the great emergence of social media, influencers and movements, such as Greta and #metoo, Spazio Verde goes against the nostalgic trend by revisiting its logo and coming up with a new pay-off to identify the corporate modus operandi. The entire corporate image is now much more contemporary and current.

The work of Spazio Verde will continue along its beaten track, while seeking out new ones, because work and passion are for us what water and sun are for plants.

Mission

Nature has always symbolized the union between human beings and the Earth, man’s ardent and profound desire to find out who he is and where he comes from and his urgent and vital need to have roots. It is from the awareness of this all-human need for reflection, identity and symbiosis with the surrounding environment that Spazio Verde’s great passion for its work springs.

The mission of the company is to preserve, care for and recreate natural and, at the same time, unique and exclusive settings, interpreting nature, making it harmonious, moulding it and merging it with the needs and personalities of its clients.

Values

Just as a tree grows heavenwards, Spazio Verde offers its clients a wide range of products and services to make green areas exclusive and full of charm and beauty – since, as Dostoyevsky once said, “Beauty will save the world” – by employing a wide assortment of fine materials, carefully selected plants and innovative, highly technological solutions. All with full respect for the environment.

The company strongly believes that not only literally, but also metaphorically, the best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best moment is now.

Sustainability

When we plant a tree, we are doing what we can to make our planet a healthier and more liveable place for those who come after us, if not for ourselves.

(Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr)

Sustainability is a word that has entered common use, and is employed in different ways and with different meanings. The most widely accepted definition of sustainable development today is that of the Brundtland report, drawn up in 1987 by the World Commission on Environment and Development, according to which,“Sustainable development is not a fixed state of harmony, but rather a process of change in which the exploitation of resources, the direction of investments, the orientation of technological development and institutional change are made consistent with future as well as present needs”.

Spazio Verde has re-elaborated its own definition of sustainability to reflect the profound meaning that this word has on a daily basis for those who work at the company: Sustainability means to operate with the broadest respect for the environment, to guarantee the future in the most ethical and effective way possible, to educate others and promote sustainable lifestyles, to reduce waste and to make better use of available resources.

Green Bonus

According to the provisions of the Revenue Agency, the “Green Bonus” consists in a 36% income tax break on expenses incurred for the following interventions:

  • Green landscaping of private areas without existing buildings, real estate units, sub-lots and fenced areas, including irrigation systems and well construction.
  • Realization of green roofs and hanging gardens.

Design and maintenance costs are also included in this tax break if connected to the execution of such interventions.
The bonus is divided into ten equal annual instalments and calculated in consideration of a maximum amount of €5,000 per residential property unit. Therefore, the maximum tax break is €1,800, that is 36% of €5,000, per property.

All taxpayers who own or hold, on the basis of a suitable title, the property on which the interventions are carried out and who have incurred the relevant expenses are entitled to the tax break.

Costs incurred for interventions on external common areas of condominium buildings are also eligibleup to a maximum total amount of €5,000 per residential property unit.

In this case, the individual owner is entitled to the tax break on condition that the relevant amount has been paid to the condominium within the tax return filing deadline.
